Finished up this one! I actually had a lot of fun working out the animation kinks. It's a bit simple in terms of effects I feel, but I didn't want to cram a lot of stuff in for a 15-second assignment, and I think going "simple" is a good representation of me anyhow. I also did the tiniest bit of sound mixing in Audition to give it a bit of flare.

  1. this is really cool, I can tell you learned a lot of about effects while making it, and I also love the color scheme you went with!

  2. This looks really interesting and difficult to make. My only critique is to have your name be squashed and visible when your email bounces on it, rather than disappearing completely.

  3. This is very engaging. I love the lighting. My critique would be that I found the ending to be a little startling.

  4. I like how lively it is, with each element moving multiple times in different ways

  5. This is really cool! I love how lively it feels with all the movement, and the lighting adds a nice dramatic touch. It’s super engaging to watch and shows how much thought you put into the effects. Maybe you could ease out the ending a bit so it feels a little smoother, but overall great job!

  6. I love the added detail of the crash sound effect, and the screen shake when your name goes to the left! I can understand keeping it simple, especially since you were working with 3D!

  7. This is so fun! I love how you evolved the lighting effects. The crash in the beginning was great.

  8. Love the bouncy feel of the text and how they interact with one another. Great use of the crash sound effect too, I really enjoy the playful vibe.

  9. I think your email should be the last thing that comes up, to promote the type of work you do first, then go into contact.

  11. I enjoy how moody this whole concept is, I think if you were to try this again it would be cool to see how different fonts would change the overall feeling
