My attempt to follow a tutorial about 3D light rays

Thought it looked cool so I wanted to try it. It's already given me a few ideas for the interstitial that I want to try out. Had a couple hiccups while following the tutorial, but I ended up working it out to be somewhat on point. Might mess around to see if I can get the sharp lighting effect I want though.

  1. This looks amazing! I love how the font you chose has beveled edges, it really enhances the light effect!

  7. Very nice, cinematic and dramatic. I think the color scheme is not the message you want to send. A Warm color scheme would look more like an optimistic sunrise, especially backlit. I have used this tut as well and congrats to getting it to work for you. Don't get locked into their colors. Right now tho the blues all make it look more like a horror film. Try changing it. Unless that is your message.

  9. This is very cool! I think the timing for the light going behind the letters is a little off with the shadows they cast, but nothing a little more refinement couldn't fix.
